Every file uploaded to a case is fingerprinted with a SHA-256 hash when it arrives, so anyone can later check it has not changed. Actions on a case are written to an append-only audit log: who started each run, which documents were indexed and when, and the citations extracted.
This answers allegations of evidence tampering and gives reviewers a continuous record from upload to dossier. Electronic records produced in Indian courts also need a certificate under Section 63 of the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023; the hashes and the log are the material that certificate draws on.
